House Rules

Dear guests, we are glad you chose our cottage. We have prepared it for you with love and we believe you will feel at home here. Please treat it with respect - as if it were your own. This way, future guests will be able to enjoy it too.

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, please read the following points:

Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival
  • Check-out: by 10:00 AM on the day of departure
  • The dates of your stay are stated in your reservation.
  • Stays can be booked through accommodation portals or in writing at rezervacie@nerina.sk

Payments and Conditions

  • Accommodation is paid in advance, before handing over the keys.
  • Any deposit paid will be deducted from the total price of the stay.
  • By making the payment, you agree to these house rules, as well as the price list, complaint procedure, cancellation policy, and GDPR terms.
  • If necessary, the landlord may also require a security deposit, which will be refunded in full after the stay, provided no property damage has occurred.

Interior Spaces

  • Do not use sports equipment indoors (balls, rackets, sleds, skis, bicycles, etc.).
  • Please wear indoor slippers inside the cottage - we recommend bringing your own.
  • Pets are allowed only with the landlord's consent. The pet owner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and preventing damage to the property. In case of any damage to the cottage, the owner must immediately inform the landlord.
  • Smoking inside the cottage is strictly prohibited. You may smoke outside - please always dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtray, never in nature. You are in a forest - the fire risk is real.

Safety and Consideration

  • Light fires only in designated areas. Keep candles and lamps lit only under supervision.
  • The use of drugs and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the cottage.
  • Alcohol consumption is permitted in reasonable amounts.
  • In case of a violation of the rules, we reserve the right to terminate your stay without compensation.
  • In serious cases, the police may be called.
  • Parents or legal guardians are responsible for minors. Children under 10 must not be left unsupervised, either indoors or outdoors.

Furnishings and Equipment

  • Do not tamper with furniture, electrical installations, or audiovisual equipment.
  • Use the cottage equipment with respect. If any damage occurs, please let us know - the sooner, the better.
  • The owner may enter the property in case of necessary repairs or emergencies.
  • Cushions for the terrace and barrel seating can be found in the utility room. Feel free to take them so you can relax in comfort. After use, please return them so they stay clean and dry for future guests.

Property Protection and Liability

  • Before leaving, always lock the cottage, close windows, turn off water, lights, and appliances.
  • A fee will be charged for a lost key based on the cost of replacing the lock.
  • You are responsible for your own valuables, money, vehicles, and sports equipment.
  • You are liable for any damage caused to the cottage in accordance with the law.

Cleaning and Waste

Before departure, please:

  • Wash the dishes
  • Sort the waste (plastic, paper, glass, mixed) and prepare it for disposal
  • Leave unconsumed food in the fridge - do not throw it away
  • Waste separation helps protect the environment and prevent problems (wildlife, odor). You are helping nature and future guests.

An additional cleaning fee may be charged for excessive mess (mud, vomit, pet-related, etc.).

Final Notes

  • These house rules are available in the cottage, on the website www.nerina.sk, and you will also receive them upon booking.
  • Violating them may result in early termination of your stay.
  • In case of a serious violation (property damage, inappropriate behavior), the matter may be referred to the relevant authorities.

Thank you for taking the time to read the house rules. We hope you fully enjoy your stay - rest, recharge, and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Best regards, Nora Horváthová and the Nerina Team
