4. Day trip to Vlkolinec and the Ruzomberok area

Just beyond Ruzomberok lies Vlkolinec - a preserved village on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1993. From Liptovske Revuce via Ruzomberok it is approximately 30 km, about 40 minutes by car. An autumn visit has its own charm - the hills above the village are ablaze with autumn colours, there are few tourists and you can enjoy the visit in real peace and quiet.

5. Autumn gastronomy and relaxation after a walk

Autumn is the time for coffee, warm soup and home cooking. In Liptov you will find restaurants with local cuisine - from bryndzove halusky to mushroom specialities. After a full day of walking you can also visit the thermal spas - from Liptovske Revuce they are accessible by car in approximately 40 to 60 minutes. Tatralandia near Liptovsky Mikulas is the largest aqua park in Slovakia and offers indoor and outdoor pools.
